New User - Filter YouTube pfSense

I am preparing to implement pfSense and currently planning to run it on a VM (if I can get it to work that way) on an HP DL 380 G6 server.
I do not want to block YouTube because we use YouTube. We have recently discovered issues with one of our children using iPhone applications in a way we do not approve of.
We would like to cover our bases and set up pfSense as a filter in advance of using a paid solution. I read about Clean Router which is supposed to have a dynamic filter and a little bit about Circle.
I'd like to know if it's possible to "filter" YouTube so we, the adults can watch what we would like while being able to filter or block certain other content that might be what I'll just call NSFW.
I am currently using OpenDNS and it's working to a point, but, apparently, my IP changed and didn't update on OpenDNS so my filtering options weren't working.

Visit the OpenDNS help pages, collect the info needed to setup a DynDNS IP updater in pfSense.

Or, what I have done on my home network, is use the OpenDNS family shield DNS servers 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123 as your main DNS server settings for your pfsense box. That's under System -> General Setup.
Then, setup all of your adult NSFW computers with static DHCP addresses. You need to do this so your pfsense box knows which computers are adult, and which ones are not.
Then, on the same Static DHCP Mapping page, Services -> DHCP Server -> LAN -> Edit Static Mapping, on the adult machines, set their DNS servers to something wide open, like Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
So, what this does is pushes adult machines thru a non-filtering (kinda) DNS system, and all other computers that connect to your LAN interface thru the OpenDNS Family Shield DNS servers. Make sense?
This does NOT work for phones or tablets with cellular connections to the internet, since those devices generally don't use your home internet connection anyway. They go thru your cellular provider. Some, or all, not sure, have their own parental control tools as well. You'd have to research that to find out.
This is not going to filter Youtube videos/content, like you stated, but it will trim most of the other junk out of your internet connection to the kid devices. You've probably heard it already, but the best parental control for the internet is an actual living/breathing parent, not software or technology.

The only issue with this is that I have found "YouTube" is either "allowed" or "blocked" and although I do not have experience with these other services, I've just had it in my mind I'd like to get this setup.
I never could get pfSense to respond properly trying to use the VM so I decided to dedicate my older HP DL 380 G6 to a pfSense box for now. Probably huge overkill but I'm using what I have.

I'm pretty sure the Family Shield settings at OpenDNS allows all YouTube videos.
