      Hi All PFSense Gurus

      Noob question, I am afraid.

I would like to set up a PFSENSE firewall at home.
I'd prefer to have it be the first thing after the fibre modem, with my existing voip router + wifi AP following that (as per subject line)

However, several PFSENSE users have advised me to use the following order:

WAN -> voip router ( WIFI turned off) -> pfsense firewall -> workstations + another wifi AP

I'd rather not have another device running 24/7 there (a new wifi AP).

Is it easy enough to pass the VOIP through the pfsense firewall in the layout I have indicated in the subject line?
Or is this asking for a whole lot of trouble?

      Thanks for your help

      Matt
