      I have set up DHCPv6 with RA on managed. My clients are getting the DNS, Domain etc information, but not an IP address. Only assisted and unmanaged does work on the interface.

        Hey, what client Operating System do you use? DHCPv6 clients is really a mess these days. Some OS just don't deliver DHCPv6 clients, others are only partially implemented and only few work good.

        Are you aware about the huge differences between DHCP for IPv4 and DHCPv6? Usually you get the IP address via Router Advertisement not via DHCP.

            @roally I am currently experiencing also problems related to IPv6. I am not sure whether there is a connection, but could you check what has been written to /var/etc/radvd.conf ?

              @roally Just use Router Advertisement. No reason to use DHCPv6 I suppose.

                RAs are mandatory, DHCPv6 or not. Perhaps you meant SLAAC, which is the common method for a device to create it's addresses.

                  @jsphgttgns this is contained in the radvd.conf, I also can't seem to find radvd in the services list in pfsense.

                  AdvRouterAddr on;
                  };
                  DNSSL ****** { };

                    @roally That's more than I see in my file. I am currently setting up a box with an older version of pfSense. 2.3.4 worked for all the time and I'll see soon whether there is a difference. If it would work, I'd know what is supposed to be in radvd.conf...
