Weird Gateway IP Address
-
I was making some changes to my network layout and noticed a weird IP 10.11.4.57 address listed under my WAN gateway -
I don't use the 10.0.0.0 anywhere in my network and that is definitely not my public IP.
10.11.4.57 responds when I ping.Any idea what is causing this?

That's what your PPPoE provider chose to give you as a gateway address.
They might be able to answer your questions in more detail.
-
Is the gateway address normally different from my WAN interface IP? my WAN IP is in the 74.x.x.x range.
-
It can be anything the ISP wants for PPPoE

okay makes sense.. I'm surprised they use a rfc 1918 address but I guess the ISP can use whatever they want on their internal network.
