I just purchased a qotom Q330G4. Out of the 4 ethernet ports 3 have the green/yellow leds lit up but the 4th doesn't. I've reset the bios to optimized defaults, reinstalled pfsense 2.4.4 from scratch and restored my config.xml from my old system. The xml file was edited in notepad ++ to change the port names from em0->ibg0 etc.

      1. is my 4th ethernet port defective? Is there anything else I could try to get it working?
      2. why are my installed packages not being restored from the config.xml?

@naskar i believe the lights light up when power is applied and before booting.
Try entering the bios and cycle a working cable among all ports.
If just one doesn't light up and there is nothing in bios to enable then you have a defective port.
