RRD Graph Issues after WAN change
-
Hi All,
I have an issue with the RRD graphs not showing up all of the correct traffic amount in them.
I have just changed my internet connection from ADSL to Cable. The Cable is loads quicker and therefore reaches higher speeds on the graphs. Before the change to Cable, the ADSL in and out MB count seemed to not have any issues. Now when i changed to Cable, the graphs update however the MB volume figures don't reflect the amount of traffic that has been downloaded.
Let me say that the WAN connection in pfSense has always been 1GB connected, when an ADSL modem in front of the pfSense box. This is the same architecture as i have with the cable modem.
Old: ADSL Cable –> ADSL Router --> 1GB Cable pfSense WAN Port
New: Cable Coax --> Cable Router (Bridge Mode) --> 1GB Cable pfSense WAN PortIt seems that its the Download that is not stacking up. The upload seems a bit more normal. I estimate i have downloaded around 20-30G in the screenshot that has been attached.
Can anyone think of why this would be the case or how i can debug/troubleshoot this issue?
I have attached a screenshot of the issue.
Cheers.

Hi guys,
Here is another graph from this mornings download test. I downloaded over 6GB and the graph will just not show up the data.
FYI, i am running the latest 2.2.1 of pfSense.
Any thoughts?

If you are comfortable with the command line and reading code, I made some suggestions here: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=89923.msg498803#msg498803 but I haven't dug into it myself. I don't see the problem on my systems.

Hi Charliem, thanks for the reply. I believe i have the same issue as the owner of the other thread.
I will add my comments into that thread so we can both come to a solution.
Cheers
