Hello, I have been using an SG-2220 for a few years now and saw that an update was available. After updating and rebooting, I found that everything did not return to normal. I have no idea why, but I then decided to just do a fresh install.

I'm following the instructions found at:
      https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/solutions/sg-2220/reinstall-pfsense.html

I think I am on the right track here, but what I am seeing is different than what I would expect to see. Here is what it looks like after attempting to boot into the install usb stick:

      /boot/kernel/kernel text=0x17bfd50 data=0xb93c38+0x517b18 syms=[0x8+0x197280+0x8+0x197de9]
      Booting...

First thing to try is a different USB stick and/or a different USB port. The error suggests that it is unable to mount the installation media, so it's likely a problem with that. Might be some combination of that particular memstick+port that FreeBSD doesn't care for on that hardware.
