      Hi,

Maybe this has been answered elsewhere but I can't quite find the answer I'm looking for.

I have a guest VLAN setup, and want to limit the bandwidth at all times to 2Mbit/s.

So far, I've gone to Firewall > Traffic Shaping, clicked on the guest VLAN under the "By Interface" tab, clicked enable, and set the bandwidth rate.

However, the GUI then has a Queue Limit option (I just put 20; no idea if that's right), and a button underneath marked Add Queue that brings up a whole raft of options I simply do not understand.

Are these basic steps enough to apply a generic bandwidth limit, or do I actually need to configure the Queue screen?

      Regards,
      Rob.

Use a limiter, not a shaping queue.

Ahh, thanks, I had been under the impression Limiters applied globally, but I missed the In/Out options when I was looking at it.

          Regards,
          Rob.
