How can I find out that there is an update for the pfSense software? I typically don’t mess with my router enough to learn about the availability of an update within a reasonable time frame. Is there a mailing list for that?

i get mails from the developers upon release / blog post. Not really sure why that is.
maybe its because of the checkbox in my forum profile - notifications "Receive forum newsletters, announcements and important notifications by email." ??

I just checked, and I have selected the same thing. Let’s see what happens in the future. Anything on the horizon?

May I ask how one can find this link on the website/blog? Is it possible to get a feed only for specific categories of the blog, e.g. the releases category? Thanks!

At other users: Using a feed to mail service and the mentioned RSS feed might be a good idea, as there isn't a newsletter for every minor release, though they are usually mentioned on the blog.
