    RTSP not working behind NAT

      Greetings All,

      I have pfSense 2.2.1 running beautifully and very stable. I have one issue that has come up and I have done a great deal of searching with no clear solution. I could really use some help as this is driving me nuts.

      System is as such:

      Windows 7 as video server - port 4509 producing RTSP stream.
        |
        |
        V
      pfSense
        |
        |
        V
      Internet
        |
        |
        V
      Video Client requesting stream (both mobile and desktop clients)

      I have searched and found that RTSP does not work (at least very well) with NAT. Found this link.

      How ever, as stated in the first link, using trial and error to configure the rule is very frustrating. I can provide more info regarding details if someone is willing to accept the challenge.

          What exactly in the linked howto does NOT work for you? Ya know, noone here will make the protocol NAT friendly…
