Forum Nickname notification broken/deactivated?

That's local to your settings, we can't change/adjust them.
If you go Profile Icon -> Settings, Notifications & Sounds I assume those have been enabled.
Have to ask sorry. It could be that your name was originally Rico, and someone went back and added the @Rico (I don't know).

Well I get notification for new postings in threads I follow and reputation...it's only missing for my name.
Let's test this @chrismacmahon

Weird, it was working in the other thread but not in this one.
Is this because I already 'watch' this thread? Name highlight only working for threads I am not watching?-Rico

I don't know, my assumption is you are already watching this thread. I'm not an expert on NodeBB.

So looks like I need to wait for the Netgate NodeBB expert.
Would be really nice to get the mentioned notification even in threads you watch/follow. In big threads it's easy to overlook someone talking straight to your name.

I get notified all the time for people that mention me in random threads.
You'll only get the separate notification if it's a thread you aren't already watching, otherwise it just tells you there is a reply.
