      Verbose: ppc0 failed to probe at irq 7 on isa0.
      This occurs at initial install during boot on a MINIX NEO Z83-4. Installation stops here.
      I have installed pfSense on lots of other hardware and have never run into this.
      Try turning off eMMC support with no luck.
      Have read about adding lines to config files, but they're not on disk yet.

      Anyone?

        That's a very common warning shown on many if not most systems. It's not an indication of a problem.

        It sounds like you may be describing the problem with unsupported sdhci issue some boards have. Like this for example:

        You can interrupt the boot loader and set those at the loader prompt even on the installer if required.
