      Hi,

There seems to be a lot of issues related to 2.2.2, but I'm not sure if these are relevant when upgrading from 2.2.1.

Should I upgrade or should I wait? I'm currently not located physically close to the router and would rather not get stuck in the upgrade process.

      Thanks.

the error that bothered a lot of people should have been resolved. so i would think it would go ok, but check the upgrade notes just to be safe.

If you're not in the neighborhood then wait  ;)
There was a serial issue, you can read up on this issue here:

The only major issue with  ver 2.2.2  was a  (very) slow reboot issue connected to serial port assignments (or lack of them).

It was resolved by 2015-05-17 21:30 with a re-release of the upgrade files including the necessary fix, see:https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=92408.msg512890#msg512890.

Short and sweet - all clear now  ;)
