Is there any part of pfSense or any package that can give me an analysis of traffic by client/lanIP and what the nature of that traffic was? Got a client on a metered connection who needs to know what's doing what. Thanks

You can do it via packages. NtopNG is probably what you're looking for, but you might get the results you want with Bandwidthd.

Many thanks. I've added both but cannot access the webui of ntopng - I've tried admin and the pass defined in ntopng settings, as well as admin/admin and <other_admin_username>/settings pass and none work. Any ideas?

Post this issue to a new thread in either General pfSense Questions or Packages: Traffic Monitoring.
