      Hi,

          Hi killmasta93,

Google does a good job of intermingling YouTube IPs with other services… I haven't come across any good IP lists to use to Block Youtube yet... You can enter a DNS redirect in Unbound or DNSMasq to block the DNS Name Resolution, but it can be bypassed if someone types in a valid IP address to access the site.

BBcan117 i just want to thank you again for the amazing pfBlockerNG. Im just kinda lost when it comes to pfSense compared to ddwrt. I know that using DNSMasq in ddwrt for bridging and giving different ip but im lost in blocking domains. Could you maybe guide me though if thats possible  :) Or would i  create the file  /usr/local/etc/dnsmasq.conf

            Thank you again

              Hi killmasta93,

You can add a domain override from the pfSense GUI.

Services: DNS forwarder: Edit Domain Override

You can also look at using Unbound Resolver instead of DNSMasq and use it as a resolver and not a forwarder.        https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=78356.0

You can direct all users to the pfSense Box for DNS and use another DNS server for yourself… Don't forget to create 'Reject rules' on the LAN to block users from accessing other DNS servers and bypassing your pfSense DNS settings.
