Hello guys,i recently configured traffic shapping on my pfsense box and set two bandwidth limits on specific ips..Some have a 5Mbps limit while about two ips have a 7Mbps limit but about two days down the line and some of the ips experience lower speeds about 1.5Mbps.It just happens at random, like today one of my clients called saying that her internet was low that she could not watch Youtube.N/B: I have a 50Mbps connection..What might be wrong

Hi @OpenWifi - Just to clarify one thing first: Are you trying to limit your clients (unique IP's) to 5Mbit / 7Mbit total, or are you trying to limit EACH client (unique IP) to 5 Mbit / 7Mbit?

Hi @OpenWifi - did you set the masks up properly when you configured the limiters? I think what might be going on here is that all IP's in your alias are limited to 5 MBit / 7 MBit in total vs. limiting EACH unique IP (host) to 5 Mbit / 7Mbit.

Please see this documentation and make sure you read all the way down past the Mask part.

                https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/book/trafficshaper/limiters.html#creating-limiters

                Hope this helps.
