      Just opened the pfSense WebGUI and got this popup. I get into pfSense at least once a day and I've seen this after updating pfSense but this popped up today for no obvious reason. What exactly would trigger this?

          Me too! I guess maybe something happened on their backend (I know before there was a bug on the Netgate backend that caused this to popup everytime someone rebooted)

            @tagit446 I saw the same thing on Friday. Who knows what the hell caused this from Netgate.

                We restored a file on the back-end infrastructure, so the modification time on the tracking file got changed. pfSense checks for the mod time on that file, and fetches/displays it if it's newer than the recorded timestamp.
