        Yes. Unless this is a completely different site or you already have that hardware it looked like you were asking about using the SG-5100 for this which we would obviously prefer.

          That is for my test site (home).. because in our store directly i will always use branded hardware.

            any idea why I dont achive 1gb speed with the hardware I have? I have 2 intel nic into it (em0 and igb0) ?

            I'm getting around 750

              If you're still talking about the SG-2220, and depending on what type of broadband internet connection you have, I think that's about all you're going to get from that box. As I understand it, the SG-2220 can do "almost" gigabit routing. It really depends on how you have it configured.

                Another option that is faster than the SG2200, is the SG-3100. Might be a better value than the custom build (especially when you look into daily power usage).

                    Hmm, I would expect an i5-3570 to pass 1Gbp pretty easily unless maybe it's all tiny packets.

                    Do you see any errors on either of those NICs?

                    What does the system activity table show when you are passing 750Mbps?

                    How are you testing?

                      Hi,

                      No errors on the nic.. attached the interface and the system activity table.. the max I got is 791mbps down, 685 up..

                        Mmm, so very little CPU usage there. How are you testing that throughput?
