status dns resolver

i would like to know as well. if i have it setup one way it just listed the DNS servers i have listed under general
if have this disabled: Do not use the DNS Forwarder/DNS Resolver as a DNS server for the firewall
it shows websites i assume are being visited on the network

Default is unchecked (for a very good reason).
What is your reason to check that one ? -
even after having both options unchecked under system / general setup. i went back to hte same nagging problem i had before. users on the network could complain they would get page can not be displayed frequently on the network. if they refreshed the page it would just work again..
with Disable DNS Forwarder checked. under general / settings. this would no longer happen. i assumed it continued to use the two IP addresses set above, quad9 and cloudfare instead of the built in resolver
this is weird. i did not start this thread. the original post has been deleted?

Dono abut your thread - found it here as is.
About the Resolver : I'm using plain vanilla settings, this is : unbound as Resolver. I activated DNSSEC.
Never saw any problems.Btw : my advice :
Quad9 - Cloudfare : why should you use these ?
