Date/Time on Posts Here
-
Hello all,
I am not sure if by design but I do not see a posting date/time on a thread or on subsequent posting inside a thread from other people.
I've been looking about my settings but cannot seem to find an option to enable this if it is needed.
So, is this by design or am I missing something? I ask as sometimes when I am reading a thread/response etc I cannot always tell how old it is so therefore how relevant.
Or am I being a bit of and old f*rt and not seeing the wood for the trees here?
Thanks and cheers

I swear, just after posting the above I can then see date/times as asked above. Or again am I and old f*rt?

And if you move your mouse over it - will show you exact time.

So weird..
I clicked on the email link to open this post and I see:
On the same page I click on the bell to open the alert notification (bell) and I see:
Is it because I am using IE11?

I don't know - don't use that.. Does anyone? You must be like the last person on the planet I would think ;)

Ahh sorry my 1st screenshot is incorrect but 100% it did not say "about an hour ago"

So I just went here with 11, and yeah not seeing them..
But then they showed up...
Weird -- Not sure why.. But your not crazy ;) Seeing the same thing.

Ok, so my gin soaked brain is not at fault :)
Thanks for checking. I've moved over everywhere else to Chrome, just taking my sweet time for an unknown reason on my main home pc.
Thanks again.

Why would you not be using say Edge on your PC vs 11? Just curious.. I have chrome and opera installed - for testing as well.. But I pretty much always just use firefox..

Because am also still dragging my feet upgrading this box from win 7 to win 10 ;)

Hee, hoo !
Still using this OS on my work on every PC. Works great.
Good news : an OS has nothing to with what web pages show.
Microsoft self advice's people not to use the IE series anymore.
So, use another browser.Btw : when I login using IE11, I do see the time date.
I'm using the "Darkly" theme. The default 'white' theme doesn't show the date time - probably something related to the style sheets of that theme. -
Even using the white they shop up after a bit.

Yay! I took the mahoosive leap and moved onto Chrome, Still Win 7 but let's say baby steps for now :)
Thanks all for you input.
