SG4860 detected at SG2440
-
Something strange happened after a shutdown and startup. The SG4860 had an configuration error. Something about a non existent interface. I am using 3 interface and only 2 detected. After the boot up. I notice that on the dashboard, the device name is now Netgate SG2440. Then I wonder if this is the Atom bug or something else?
Hope this is making sense.

The issue you reference would stop the box from booting entirely, not fail to detect some of the network interfaces.
Can you show the boot log (
/var/log/dmesg.boot
)?What is in your
/boot/loader.conf
and/boot/loader.conf.local
(if they exist)? -

Strange. I don't see any errors, but the other four ports just aren't being detected.
What shows up if you run

Hmm, it's just not seeing the NIC in the SoC at all.
You should open a ticket with us at https://go.netgate.com to look at options here.
