      It seems that Netgate has been using the Marvell switching in all their new devices which is really throwing me off. In the past @Stephenw10 was extremely helpful with an XG7100 but an SG3100 is a device we did not expect t sww the Marvell switch.

      We purchased an SG3100 however again it appears that with the new switchport models, it's difficult to understand how to configure VLAN's to physical ports without proper documentation, which still we have been unable to find on the Netgate site and/or community forum.

      We would like to achieve a configuration to provide the following:
      WAN -> ISP
      LAN1 -> VLAN1
      LAN2 -> VLAN20
      LAN3 -> VLAN30
      LAN4 -> VLAN40

      We only wish to separate traffic among the physical ports so that we can permit specific traffic within our network. What would be the configuration process? Thank you.

          If you open a support ticket with us I can give a default config with all four LAN ports already separated. You can then assign them however you like.
          If you need those VLANs actually trunked into pfSense though there is some additional config to do. Though if that was the case you could just bring them all in on the OPT port.

            @stephenw10 I did open a support ticket but the responses received were the same as those listed above.

              Hmm, I'm sorry about that. Please open another ticket and make it for the attention of Steve and I'll make sure you get it.

                If you opened a ticket asking about switch docs for the 3100, then yeah pointing to the doc would be the correct answer ;)

                What part of the documentation are you not not getting and maybe we can solve your problem right here..

                Other then maybe you clicking the actual pvid entry in the table vs say an edit button on the entry.. It really is no different than any other switch. You set the port vlan, and then on your uplink (port 5) you tag that vlan..

                Once you understand that port 5 is the uplink to the soc, its pretty straight forward.
