Is CPU to old? stuck in the beginning

I have a pentium 4 with 4 gb memory.  Get to the initial screen where i select multiboot (Not sure why except its the first choice).  I get the following errors.

"Error while including /boot/kernal/kernel]…
CPU doesn't support long mode

Type ? for a list of commands, "help" for more detailed information.

Any ideas

Install the x86 version.
