I'm having issues with VMware's vSphere Web Client - More specifically, shockwave plugins are crashing like crazy and I am having browser incompatibility issues. I'm having random intermittent buggy issues with other websites as well.

When I think back, I think the problems started happening right around the time that I updated to ESXi 5.5u2 and vCenter Server 5.5.0.20500 Build 2646489. I also purchased a new desktop (Dell, Windows 8.1) and laptop (MPB 15") right about the same time so many variables which is making it hard to pinpoint a single cause.

Squid has helped a lot so before I disable it, has anyone else had similar issues with sites like this?

It's stupid little things such as the login screen does not work in Firefox or Chrome until I open a new tab. Meaning I cannot type in the User/PW fields on a new page, I must open a new tab for it to work properly. Or, I'm having issues with the VMRC (VMware Remote Console) opening on all browsers, etc.

Should I start by turning Squid off or should I start by excluding my local VMware Server Appliance IP from Squid's cache?

      Thanks.
