      Hello,

I'm new in the company I work for and with pfsense.
The company have pfsense at different versions and I decided to upgrade them to the last one.
The upgrade failed or funcionalities like Authencations where not ok after it.๐Ÿ˜•
So I installed a new one and tried backup and restore function. It backup well and restored well too โ˜บ . But I still have the same problem with authentication.๐Ÿ˜ฅ
Do you have any idea ? Is there some differences before backup files (xml) from 2.2.6 and 2.4.4 ? Do I have to do something else ?

      Thanks for your help.๐Ÿ˜€

            Nothing failed.

Right, but you are doing what ? Against what "Authentication server" (if others exist).
Why not mentioning all this upfront ?

You are right, I forgot to specify it's with LDAP authentication.
Sorry it was implicit for me. ๐Ÿ˜“
I can logon with a local account on the firewall.
I can't connect with a LDAP account since the update.
If I create a new pfsense 2.4.4 and restore the configuration from 2.2.6, same problem.
If I install a new pfsense 2.4.4 and create LDAP configuration like it is on 2.2.6 it's ok

The other way for me : never worked with "LDAP" ....

But : important your settings, thena debug / test drive with the help of te https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/usermanager/ldap-troubleshooting.html and there is also a video about Netgate => pfSense on Youtube.
