    smtp in not working when i do failover

      my failover works between 2 isps. However smtp in does not work when the firewall switches to isp b. The nat rules for the 2 links are there but still no luck accessing incoming smtp traffic on isp b, however on isp a, all works well. What could i be missing ?

        How do you manage DNS during a failover? I assume your MX record points to an IP or hostname that resolves to your isp a WAN address, or does it point to both?

          im using the google dns servers and the mx record points to an ip

                Add another MX record to point to your isp b WAN address. That way mail should be able to reach your mail server no matter which gateway is up.
