      Hi folks,

I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that pfSense has been showing high CPU usage on the dashboard and the cause is a PHP script :

Have any of you ever encountered this? It goes on for days on end. The only way to stop it is to kill it. The version we use is:

      2.4.4-RELEASE-p1 (amd64)
built on Mon Nov 26 11:40:26 EST 2018
      FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p4

      Thanks for your help!

Upgrade to patch 3 and see if the problem persists.

          Yup, upgrade.

You have any custom stuff on there? Packages?

          Steve

@stephenw10 I've got freeradius3, ntopng, and openvpn-client-export. FYI I killed the process yesterday and it hasn't come back since.

That file could only be stuck if somehow the notifyqueue_running lock is stale or not being released. Maybe something in your notification settings is broken and it can't get messages out.
