      Hi guys,

I've got a relatively simple and stock pfsense config as I've just moved over from a unifi USG.

I've created static dhcp leases using just MAC and IP addresses on the dhcp server page for all my devices (and left the hostnames blank). In the DNS resolver config page, i've enabled both the Register DHCP leases in the DNS Resolver and Register DHCP static mappings in the DNS Resolver but the /var/unbound/dhcpleases_entries.conf file is still empty.

The dhcpleases process is running, and if i add a hostname into any of the static dhcp entries - they populate into /var/unbound/host_entries.conf but otherwise the other static entries never seem to make their way into resolver.

I'm probably wrong but I'm assuming the static entries without hostnames fell under "machines that specify their hostname when requesting an IPv4 DHCP lease"

Just wondering if I've got this all wrong or am I missing something somewhere?

      Cheers
