Growl is about to be removed from pfsense, per @jimp (https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8821) with only email notification left.
Does the community feel the need for new push notification services like telegram bot, Slack or pushbullet?

      Thanks

It would be great, don’t really care what it is, it just needs to be device agnostic the far end.

I've been looking at Notification services as well. I would prefer something self-hosted and open, such as Gotify.

But: what @oddussiben-3161 suggested looks really cool! Would this work with pfSense, ie are Python packages realistic?
