      Hi.
I've moved a pfSense installation hdd from an hardware to another (two different Supermicro boards), and right after BIOS POST I get the screen full of hashes (#), completely full.
I tried two different hardware and both behave the same (they're both different from the original one).

Is this a pfSense output due to some hw incompatibility? Thanks

Probably a difference in the BIOS and how it expects to boot (MBR vs GPT, or BIOS vs UEFI).

In most cases you can move a drive around, but at that point it mostly depends on the BIOS settings vs the disk boot layout/partitions.
