Discord server for pfSense?

Why isnt there a Discord server for pfSense?
Noone wants Slack or IRC in 2019.
-
long story short.. because pfSense is a firewall not a server of any kind
-
Did anyone find the Discord servers of Palo Alto, Sophos, Cisco or Juniper yet? scratches head
-
I think you mean as opposed to the official pfSense slack channel? https://pfsense-official.slack.com
There isn't one as far as I know. Though I've never used Discord so...
Edit: Omitted a crucial word there.

I use it, too, for various reasons. But I wouldn't assume to find a commercial grade security product on a discord channel ;) It's something I associate with streaming, gaming etc. not really with security stuff.

Horseshit. There are plenty of sysadmin discords out there and they are really good.

You are not going to entice people to come to a different chat service to help others with that kind of attitude. You're sending a signal that to go there, your opinions will be ridiculed and you'll be abused in a toxic environment. Why would anyone choose to do that, especially for free/volunteers?
Slack and IRC/Freenode are fine options. There are plenty of people who use both. If you disagree, that's fine for you, but cut out the attitude.

Slack is a closed piece of shit. Yeah, I said it.

This thread is locked. Not a productive conversation and insults/toxic behavior that continued after being warned against.

All of those chat services are not the best for tech support... You need history, you need easy ability to post images, etc.. discord doesn't even have threads... Its just one large freaking chat... Not conductive for tech support... its conductive for clan chatting during a game raid.. ;)
User X helps Y 3 weeks ago, how does user Z now with the same issue find the info?
