New SG1100 is stuck in an auto-reboot loop.
-
The SG1100 was functional and in operation. WAN and LAN connectivity ceased unexpectedly. Attempts to restart via 1) PuTTY, 2) power reset and 3) reset button did not resolve and it remained in the reboot loop. Suggestions other than return under warranty?

try from console,
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-1100/connect-to-console.html
see if you are able to start the system as single user mode and manually run fsck
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/hardware/troubleshooting-disk-check-errors-fsck.html, read carefully the "note"
if you have registered the product to netgate's portal you should be able to download the image needed for the reinstallation
if nothing work open a ticket at https://go.netgate.com and ask for support -
Thank you for your assistance and advise. FSCK reports a clean system. I was able to start FSCK after a day idle, suggesting a thermal or component issue. Substituting a new power supply stopped the reboot loop, for now anyway, but ports are still dead. I will open a support ticket.
