Dual WAN Keep 1 User To Specific WAN

I have a dual WAN setup and want 1 user to have all traffic go through WAN2.
I have made an alias for the client and then set that as the source in the LAN rule with protocol “any” and set the gateway to WAN2 in the advanced setting.
This has worked fine for me.
If WAN2 ever drops out will that rule still stay in place or will it switch to WAN1 if it goes offline or is removed?
I want to make sure that the client stays on WAN2 no matter what even if there’s no internet.
Appreciate any advice.

Unless you have fiddled with gateways groups and failover, it will not fail over if WAN2 goes down.
