      Hi All,

This is my first experience with this firewall.
I would like to add IPS/IDS functionally into my home network by getting pfSense inline running as VM on my Qnap. Please see below:

What settings are needed from the firewall side? VM is up and running, Qnap interfaces are set in the bridge mode.

      Thanks,
      Myky

        Hi All,

Ok, l managed to get this to work:

        pfsense_LAN_WAN.PNG

pfSenses's LAN port is connected to SW1, WAN port is linked to the SW2. All good and everything is working as expected however my speed gone down from ~230Mbps DOWN > 10Mbps. Bridge interface looks good, also no traffic shaper policy:

        Do you have any thoughts?

        Thanks,
        Myky

Never mind, checking KB below and selecting "Disable hardware checksum offload" option did a trick:
