Sg1100 beginner questions

Hey
I have some beginner questions:
-Can a sg1100 run as standalone vdsl router (with an external modem) including ipv6, dhcp, dns, pppoe and nat?
-can the sg1100 run an IPS (snort)?
-Is pfsense free (including IPS) or is a subscription needed?
-is vlan tagging supported? (with per vlan dhcp)
-What is the Estimated thought with IPS and DPI?Thank you

3 yes, pfsense it's free no need for a subscription, ips also have free rules that can be loaded

What is the estimated throughput lan to wan / wan to lan with the sg1100 if I enable the firewall, IPS with the most relevant/important pgl rules and Deep Package Inspection (is that supported by pfsense?)

@kiokoman but that's the important part of the question. Dpi and spi are very expensive operations that will kill the bandwidth if the hardware isn't suitable.
Looks like I can't buy it in Germany anyway. Sad thing

@kiokoman I tried the voleatech online shop. It refuses the order if I don't submit a tax number that only companies can get. I asked a friend who works as a freelancer to order it with his. The number gets also rejected. Looks like only real companies can order this. Why?

idk here in italy there are company that can sell only to other company B2B for example, maybe they have the same limitation.

@kiokoman No I can't buy there without being a company. I don't know any legal reason why they shouldn't be allowed by law to sell to customers. They don't want or netgate don't want. I don't know. But it's sad because it's the only reseller with a shop in Germany. So I can't buy the product for my self.
Only thing I can do is buy other hardware from China. So netgate will get nothing from me.

i don't think it's a netgate decision, the sg1100 it's pretty popular .it would not .. if they imposed such restrictions. -

What's your VDSL speed? I've an SG-1100 behind a VDSL modem on an 80/20 service. It runs very well on this, but I haven't installed snort.

@Rico Sounds like no order from normal customers. I just ordered a mini pc: Half price, 3 times faster and no need to have a business.
I'm still a bit sorry because I really wanted the sg1100. But thanks to you guys anyway.
