      I installed pfsense on it's own machine. i got it up and running sort of. if the connection is hardwired, then i have internet. i have a nighthawk router that has two different wifi networks. nothing that connects to the wifi will get internet. i turned off DHCP on the router.

      i couldn't find how to make this work. can someone help me? i'm new to pfsense and just want to make this work for me.

        @laundryguy

        Is that Nighthawk router configured as an access point or router? Normally, you'd use it as an AP.

        PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
        i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
