Backup pfsense with all packages

How can I backup pfsense including all packages (snort, pfblockerng, squid) and all config settings (vlans, firewall, dhcp, etc)?

Is Diagnostics -> Backup enough?

It is only a config backup and nothing more. It includes packages and settings by default.

If I make a clean install and load this backup. Will it restore all my packages including the package configuration?
