Hi, i bought a SG-3100 and just did not start. I connected from serial port and its look like an eternal booting loop. please help! (complete noobie user)

it marks the disk clean when in fact it is not clean. To resolve this problem, you must bring the machine up single user and run a full fsck on it using fsck . This will find the hidden problem and correct it.
That can happen in rare cases if, say, the power is removed without a proper shutdown.
/sbin/fsck -y /

I went through this last week. It is not too hard. You have to have your console session ready before you power on the device, because you have to stop the Marvell boot loader when prompted and I think you only have a few seconds to do it. It comes up quick and if you are not paying close attention you will miss it you then have to shut it down and try again.
