    [2.4.4p3] Reboots with ctrl-alt-del on console even though hw.syscons.kbd_reboot = 0

      Hi. Actually, the topic says it all. I noticed that when using a console-connection to pfSense (we run them as VMs as of yet), ctrl-alt-delete does in fact reboot the machine, even though hw.syscons.kbd_reboot is set to 0.
      What gives?

        Probably because these days it uses the VT console, not syscons. Try setting kern.vt.kbd_reboot to 0.

          That was a quick fix, that indeed works. I wonder if that could be in the default tunables table, or maybe even a GUI options somewhere, I musn't be the only one who rebooted their box unintentionally by pressing this often-used MS combination...
