pfSense 2.4.5 MIA?
-
Hello. I had to redo my pfSense machine and noticed I don't have my original pfSense ISO :(. I was running 2.4.5, but it's nowhere to be found! Was wondering if there was a way to get this version back or not?

there is no way you had 2.4.5
the latest stable version is 2.4.4-p3
the development is 2.5.0
maybe you had 2.3.5 that is now a very old release -

2.4.5 is a dev version and an update to 2.4.4 and does not appear to have any public snapshots as of yet.

What ??
Isn't this https://www.pfsense.org/download/ official enough ????
Or this https://www.netgate.com/blog/pfsense-2-4-4-release-p3-now-available.html ?
And now there are ISO's ? Haven't seen that for the last several years.
But ok, I understand, yet another "when comes 2.4.5 ?", write-up
.@meluvalli :
rungrep "version" /conf/config.xml
on your imported config file. It shows the version you used ^^

It had one at one time though! That's what I'm saying! This is a snapshot of my old system that I was running!

Lucky you !!
The 2.4.4-p3 came out later then that - it was a p2 before.Maybe p3 existed as a 2.4.5 version for a while ....

Maybe 2.4.5 we'll never see due to freeBSD 12.0.

We'll have public snapshots up for 2.4.5 soon. We had them a long time ago but dropped them, now we've started them again but we're checking them out first to make sure there aren't any major issues before opening them up for wider testing.
