      Hello all.

      Don't flame me!!
I want to re install my pfsense Qotom mini computer with pfsense. I have a Kingston hyper-x 120 GB SSD inside the mini computer. I want to during installation activate trim for the SSD. How do I do that during the install process? Or do I have to do this after installing pfsense?
I am on UK Virgin media 100 Mbit cable internet.

      Thanks to all replies.

ZFS TRIM is enabled by default
just install it and format with ZFS to be sure, nothing else to do

        [2.5.0-DEVELOPMENT][root@pfSense.localdomain]/dev: sysctl -a vfs.zfs.trim.enabled
        vfs.zfs.trim.enabled: 1

Just like to give an update, downloaded latest USB install "pfSense-CE-memstick-2.4.4-RELEASE-p3-amd64.img"
Rufus made a boot-able USB drive from my Kingston 8GB flash drive. Booted fine, but here is the problem:
            no zfs install option!!
So installed it anyway, pfsense is saying no smart errors with the SSD.
