        What pfSense version?

        Has this just failed?

If there is no php binary almost nothing will work!

I don't use 2.5.0 yet (it's beta - maybe alpha), but I'm pretty sure the location didn't change.

                Here /usr/local/sbin/ for the fpm
Here /usr/local/bin/ for the other related php files
Here /usr/local/lib/php/201.... for the lib (= so) files

Anyway, open a console, option 8 and type :

                php -v

and you have the CLI at your disposal.

Exactly what are you trying to do here?

The file locations have not changed in 2.5 though. Just as @Gertjan said:

                    /usr/local/sbin/php-fpm
                    /usr/local/bin/php

So you're trying to create a custom captive portal page? Using some php development tool?

This looks like an eclipse problem to be honest. Where have you set the executable in the 'workspace'?

Ah .... details are coming in slowly.

Just a wild shot : the pfSense isn't a build environment - stock FreeBSD 11.2 or 12 is.

I still don't know what you are using. This https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-ports/tree/master/java/eclipse ?
I good start should be the eclipse support forum, if such a thing exists.
