Notifications not working with smtp relay

Hi,

trying to set up notifications. We are using an external realy. This is the error I get:

I know that my settings are perfectly fine, cause they are used on several endpoints. Tried all the settings in pfsense WebGUI, even disabling Certificate check, but nothing works. Any idea?

Hi,

Connect manually to see what happens.
Open console on pfSense and

telnet xxxxxxxxx.yyyyy.com 587

( that is URL separated with a space from the port number )
Did it connect ?

edit : console = the real one, not the fake GUI one.

Thanks, but I used our internal relay now.
