Hi clever people... everything is wonderful with my new client Ipsec vpn... except.. one little niggle... DNS. Basically the VPN Client seems to be using the clients DNS settings, so when I try and connect to a server or service internally I either have to remember the IP address or I have to set an entry in the hosts file.

I've resolved it by manually setting the DNS servers on the setup VPN client but I'm at the stage where I want to deploy this to users machines and I've got a powershell script that imports the cert and sets up the VPN for them... I haven't been able to find a way of scripting adding the DNS servers to the IPv4 settings of the VPN adapter... I was hoping either there was another way or someone else had managed it....

      All help gratefully received.

      Paul.

You can set DNS servers for clients to use in the IPSec > Mobile Clients tab. Do those not get pushed to connecting clients?
