libcryptoauth.so.3 - 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 MIA
-
Just noticed the LLDP won't start it appears that libcryptoauth.so.3 is missing in action.
What's the best way to re-install libcryptoauth.so.3, boot up a VM running 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 and copy it over ?
-
From the existing VM I've got:-
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@primary.localdomain]/root: find / -name libcryptoauth.so.3 -print
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@primary.localdomain]/root:Hmmm odd.
-
Is my pkg database screwed?
On the router:-
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@pfsense]/root: pkg-static -v
1.12.0
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@pfsense]/root:On a VM:-
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@primary]/root: pkg-static -v
1.10.5
[2.4.4-RELEASE][admin@primary]/root:Do I need to follow this:-
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/packages/fixing-a-broken-pkg-database.html

You might have pointed the update repository at 2.4.5, for example, which would have pulled in some newer versions of things.

I did but didn't download, all looks good now after following the link.

It doesn't matter if you changed your mind after switching to it, the changes were set at that point. If you change it back to stable, you'll have to at least manually reinstall
pkg
, which is probably what you already did by following that link.
