Pfsense limiting wan?

So, I got Comcast 1Gig and 40 Mbps speeds from them, with my own DOCSIS 3.1 modem.
So from my modem, I can get full speeds. BUT after my pfsense, I am getting 120-150 Mbps and 40 upload.
I can't really figure out what the heck is going on.
I am using a dell PowerEdge r220 with a Intel PRO/1000 nic card.Specs.
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v3 @ 3.10GHz
Current: 3100 MHz, Max: 3101 MHz
4 CPUs: 1 package(s) x 4 core(s)
AES-NI CPU Crypto: Yes
Intel PRO/1000
Intel SDD 250Gbps
8 Gigs of Ram.Packages
SnortSo, I can't really figure what the heck is going on with my internet with pfsense.
I tried resetting to factory defaults and nothing.Booted my Dell R220 to Windows Server 220 updated all the bios and chipsets, and the intel Intel PRO/1000 was able to get full speeds from the modem the same one that is used for pfsense..
So what the heck is going on?

@mrhomelabber what do you have in your network and how is it setup?
-
@bobbenheim after pfsense it goes to a network switch then to the patch panel
-
@bobbenheim well after posting the comment I went down and direct plugged into the pfsense, instead of the switch and the speeds improved but still getting 300-400mbps of download and 40mbps of upload.

You have the modem in 'bridge mode'? (assuming it's not just a modem). Do you see full speeds if you don't and just double NAT?
Try testing from pfSense directly so you're only testing the WAN:
pkg install py27-speedtest-cli rehash speedtest-cli

@stephenw10 the modem is a dumb modem, nothing special about it lol
-
If it can only be a modem try that test from pfSense directly. Determine if the problem is the WAN or LAN.

Tested getting full speeds from the modem, but after doing the test I did a direct connection to pfsense and I am getting the full speeds, just noticed it was my network switch.

Ah, bad cable, bad port maybe?
