      Hi,

I am new to a pfsense thing,

I've been using pFsense on a HP Thin Client
      version : 2.4.4-Release-P3

with 2 USB Lan Adapter(Gigabit) on it for my Lan and Opt1

what I have notice that I cannot use Traffic shaper Wizard on my pfsense box.

I attempt to configure my traffic shaper wizard and there is a error message says
"This firewall does not have any Lan-Type interfaces assigned that are capable of using ALTQ Traffic shaping"

any idea for this things to work on my used HP Thin Client?

      Best Regards,

Use different NIC types. AltQ is not supported by whatever devices you have. You should avoid USB NICs in general.

        See: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/hardware/network-interface-drivers-with-altq-traffic-shaping-support.html

In addition to the list linked there we add VLAN interfaces so one option would be to add vlans and apply the shaping on that.

        Steve
