No LAN internet connection on initial setup
-
Hey,
I've been trying to get my pfSense running for 3 days now and I just can't figure out why it wouldn't work. I honestly tried 4 re-installs, multiple tutorials and dozens of answers from forums.
The problem is I can not reach the internet from my LAN network.
Here's my complete configuration and setup:
ISP Router on 192.168.0.0/24
pfSense Box with em0 (DHCP) in 192.168.0.0/24 & em1 (static) in 192.168.1.1/24
Clients in 192.168.1.0/24 via DHCP from pfSense:
Interface status
Not blocking RFC ranges
Service status
Disabled hardware checksum
Outbound NAT
LAN Rules
If you need any additional information, please hit me up. I really appreciate your time and help!
Cheers

Generally speaking, pfSense works just out of the box after running through the setup wizard.

What exactly does that mean? What error message is returned by your browser when you try to access a site?
Can you
ping 8.8.8.8
from a LAN client?Can you
ping www.google.com
from the same? Can you ping 8.8.8.8 from the firewall in Diagnostics > Ping?
Can you ping www.google.com from the firewall in Diagnostics > Ping?
Can you resolve www.google.com from the firewall in Diagnostics > DNS Lookup?
