NETGATE SG-1000 update to 2.4.4
-
Hi!
To try debugging an openvpn problem I have, I activate our old Netgate SG-1000, we normally use for remote access in the field.
While upgrading from 2.3 to 2.4.4 I waited for a very long time after the system reported "now rebooting..." (I actually did something else at home), but it never came back.
I power cycled the SG-1000 but I couldn't connect to it again. After using the serial console, I found out that something really went wrong with the update.
Here is the serial output:

I actually can't do anything, it always produces the PHP errors.
Is there any way to fix this? I really would like to have the little red thing back working!

The fastest way will be to re-image it to 2.4.4p3 directly.
Open a ticket with us here and we can get you the image: https://go.netgate.com/Steve

Hi @stephenw10 !
Opened ticket -> got your reply -> downloaded firmware -> installed it on the SG-1000 -> uploaded configuration -> Everything is working again!
