Static IPV6 Not Working
-
WAN to Gateway ping = ok
WAN to google = ok
LAN to google = fail -
Is that the actual IPv6 address for the gateway? On IPv6, link local addresses are often used for routing.
-
And are you sure that LAN prefix is actually routed to you?
-
Yes my prefix is 2603:301d:909:7700::/56
My ISP is Comcast business

Yes my gateway is 2603:301d:909:7700:3a17:e1ff:fefb:464e
If I try to use the local link it does not work

That means nothing.
I would packet capture for a random host address in that /56 on the WAN and ping6 it using an outside tool and see what shows up on WAN from upstream. The traffic should just arrive on the WAN interface without any additional NDP, etc. If not, it is not being properly routed to you.

I did ping pfsense outside the network. I did see my pings from that computer but went I set the static ip 2603:301d:909:77e0::90
I failed to ping pfsense2603:301d:909:77e0::/64 has worked for the past 2 years without problems until now

Isn't 2603:301d:909:77e0::100 outside your allocation range of 2603:301d:909:7700::/56 ?

If it's really 2603:301d:909:7700::/56 they have 2603:301d:909:7700::/64 through 2603:301d:909:77ff::/64 so, no,
:77e0:
would be good. -
@Derelict Thanks for quickly pointing out my error.
